Well everyone i Just have a bit of a problem with the traverse mechanism to use on my gantry crane. i was wondering anyone have any ideas for what mechanism to use or did use for their lowering and rising motion of the gantry in the lifting rope? As i have everything done part from this i would very much appreciate anyone…

If you could mount the lifting motor onto the moving gantry it would help and also get a drive belt from maplin electronics in capel st to move the lifter along by attaching onto it and run it from 1 end to the other.
