    As per Title.

Will the Vodafone iPhone be branded on the fascia with Vodafone?

Was the first batch of IOS branded with Vodafone?

The only branding you will find on the iPhone will be the Apple logo on the back.

There will be no operator branding in the OS only the operator specific APN for data.

Not a snowball's chance in hell apple will let any operator brand an iPhone. The iPhone to apple is all about style and looks, you slap a ****ty red logo on that... you lose your wow factor.

a friend of mine is getting a batch (business) of these from vodafone on monday or tuesday, the rep confirmed they are being delivered by IOS. Does this mean these will also be sim free?

I would say so since Vodafone have no official agreement with Apple just yet. The official Vodafone ones will most likely be locked to Vodafone.

Anyone who has one from IOS should be able to confirm this.

If IOS are providing you with a phone now it is unlocked.
Vodafone cannot lock the phone down until its official release with them.
