Media Pundit Noel Whelan Running For FF in 1997

This was posted on another site. Thought it was good, I hadn't realised how Fianna Fail he was.
Nice little quote in the leaflet

‘Many young people are also deeply concerned about escalating house costs and the current over heating of the Dublin property market….’

So they knew themselves in 1997 that the housing Market was going bonkers yet they did little or nothing to stop it and here we are today suffering the consequences...

Shock Horror. *exhibits mock indignation, á la Pat Rabbite*
this is a pretty well known fact, I think anyway OP.

I generally expect an FF view from him when I hear/see/read him. But he can be quite the independent thinker.

Noel Whelan has been FF since he left school and went to college. That is well-known, Why the surprise, read what he writes.

You hadn't realised how pro Fianna Fail he is?

Have you ever heard him speak on politics? The man practically blesses himself whenever Bertie Ahern gets mentioned.

His political bias is known but it would be immature to think there is any political commentator without political preferences or indeed, political history. I think even Vincent Browne has some rather embarrassing skeletons in his closet in that respect.
