Broken barrel in lock of VW passat 2001 so locked out. any idea how to get the door open.
Beeper on key hasn't worked in years and never got around to getting it fixed.

Can open the boot so will try getting in through there in the morning.

Youll get a new battery for the zapper in tesco or dunnes where the batteries are. its like a tablet.

The key fob could only need as battery as said, the doors will be deadlocked so even if you get in through the boot you won't be able to get the deadlock open without the key or key fob unlocking the doors.

no lock barrel in passenger door! central locking all from drivers door and lock in boot that doesnt open the rest of the doors

Got in through the boot with the help of a 3ft prize bar.
The guy in the VW garage says he will fix the lock barrel for 25 euro.

The key is fairly wrecked so got one cut today but need to have old key beside it, better then 250 for new one.

    Thanks for the replies:)
