    i'm seriously thinking of getting one, are they that good? can you recommend the best games out there....not into sports games.
    Which seller would you recommend too.....thanks for any info.

    I think it is worth it.

    I finished Uncharted recently and found it to be superb. The masses say the second one is even better, I haven't played this one yet.

    I wholeheartedly recommend it. I mean, JML haver made some ropey **** in the past, but this potatoe peeler / window washer combo thing is amazing.


    Yeah, but get one. Uncharted 2 and MAG.

    Dark Void is apparently a bucket of shite.

    I'm loving Heavy Rain at the moment but I'd recommend giving the demo a go first because its not going to be to everyones taste. Also, you should definately get Uncharted 1 and 2.

    Uncharted 2, MAG, Heavy Rain (as above, try the demo first), and inFamous should give you a nice rounded experience. There's some good games on the PS Store too.

    Do you have another console? If not there's a few multi-platform games you should pick up.

    Go for the 120Gb model, if you ever actually need more than that you can buy a large capacity cheap hard drive online and install it yourself, cheaper than going for the next highest model.

    I'm still using my old 60Gb model and I haven't come close to filling it. But then again I don't have that many games for my PS3.

    I'm a late comer to the PS3 but i have to admit it's an excellent piece of kit.....i'd buy a second hand 60gb because of backward compatibility and upgrade the hard drive....then stream movies form your computer....

    Then you've a games console...media player....blu ray player all in one....

    You won't get a very balanced answer here, I recommend reading some independent reviews of the system. I recommend it though :p

    Solid console, unlike the noisy over heating Xbox. That being said i spend more time on the Xbox since most multiplat games are developed for it and then ported to the PS3.

    Id say get it if you want to play it for the exclusives, which is what i did

    extravision and gamestop are two that i have personall experience from, i found them to be fine, i had a prob with ps3 about 2 mths after i bought it from gamestop and they sent a courier up with a new 1 very impressed . i think you should shop around now though as there are variable prices everywere , currys are good at mo.

    Powercity is actually very good for the actual console, you won't get many games but you'll get a great deal - I got the 250Gb for €278 in January along with Ratchet & Clank (Tools) and GT5Prologue (traded the 2 of them for Batman).
    For games the likes of Xtravision has great deals on 2nd hand games - if you haven't played before I'd highly recommend DeadSpace (brilliant game €10), Fallout3 (€15), you might even pickup Unchartered1 for a tenner...the rest will come in time!

    no you can get a 120gb base model without games ,which is probably your best option , as you said you dont play many games .nothing as bad thinking you got a great deal on a console with 6 games , only to find there terrible and all you play is the game you bought the console for.
