Is it worth having Mcafee?(anti-virus)

    I have used Mcafee protection the last three years but am wondering if its worth the 60 euro they ask for every year? My computer runs smoothly-its a laptop but I'm not sure if that's because of Mcafee? I had Avg previously on my former Laptop and the laptop gradually ground to a halt .

    However,it was quite an old laptop to start with. Bought it second hand.

    Not worth it at all, wouldn't even be worth it if they paid you

    Remove it and get something like Avira, your PC will thank you for it, as will your wallet

    agree there avira is great free one and is as good as paid ones
    If ur going to pay id recommend kaspersky or eset nod
    mcafee is okish better than norton anyway
