there's a wine bar type place on the north quays near the bottom of capel st that i've walked past that would suit you. Its more coffee shop like than pub like. I've never actually gone in though! It has couches and stuff.

Lemon jelly in the Italian Quarter is opened to 11.It doesnt have the most comfortable seating but it is a coffee shop.

The IFI and The Library bar in The Central Hotel are all opened late and have a nice coffee shop feel to them.

Starbucks is opened really late too,If you like coffee with a side serving of really loud Spanish tourists.

    http://www.thebaldbarista.com/

The best coffee shop in Dublin IMV.

The website doesn't give the opening hours, but a quick email or call will sort that out.

I think the owner ( who is great BTW) has an interest, or owns Darwins restaurant which is now on the opposite side of the road to where it was before on Aungier Street. I may be wrong about that.

Great student area, with DIT. Edgy part of town, great.... love it.

    Check it out.
