Anyone know if Aer Lingo can still check bags thru to USA with Virgin via LGW and LHR? Yes, it's all booked on the one itinerary (expedia).

And if so, I'm assuming there's no baggage charges from here to London?

Yes, if it's on the on ticket, and no, baggage charges don't apply (you'll be allowed whatever the baggage allowance Virgin give you).

I'm raising this issue again, hoping that someone can ally my fears......

I'm booked with Virgin on Aer Lingus from Dublin to London and Virgin from London to New York this week. Virgin tell me to book bags directly with aer lingus for the Dublin to London portion of the ticket, Aer Lingus tell me a bag is included. Don't want to get to the airport and find myself having to pay a penalty price for the bag. Does anyone know whee I can confirm this ? Thanks

Hi I travelled virgin to Las Vegas via Gatwick in march. The dublin - Gatwick leg was operated by aerlingus. They checked my back through to vegas and I got both boarding passes from them. I did not have to pay for my bag.
