    Hi,

I got one of these as a gift

however I have a build in radio for my 05 corolla, and I do not have the input jack you need, or am I looking in the wrong area. Its supposed to be above the volume adjuster on a car stereo system.

That's an FM transmitter that plugs in to the cigarette lighter isn't it?

that's an FM transmitter no cables required. the frequency on the display is the one you set the car's radio to.

If you have the Griffin transmitter in your link, then you dont need to link your ipod to your radio with a 3.5 mm audio jack

If you do have the Griffin transmitter, your instruction manual will tell you how to find one or more radio frequencies to set on the griffin, then connect and play your ipod and tune your radio into the frequency selected by the Griffin.

    Sorry,

Its actually one of these. I remember using one of these charges before for the 1st time where you plug it into the cigarette lighter holder and it blew a fuse in the car. If this one needs to be plugged into the cigarette lighter charger aswell whats the odds of it happening again.

Also sorry baout this but I don't think its the same as the second link either. I have it at home. It has 2 cables that came with it and basically it supposed to allow you to connect your Ipod to it and charge it in the car and play songs back via the speakers. Also you have the controller for switching songs and adjusting the volume on the round device that came with it.

the other cable may be for using MP3 players that aren't ipods.

My first mobile charger did this as well, the trick was never to remove it from the cigarette lighter holder until the engine was turned off.
