    Hey guys,

Has anyone bought an iphone from Ellystar on Moore street? I heard through a friend that they are selling them unlocked at a cheaper price than a locked PAYG one from o2.

Just wondering if anyone has bought from them.

What kind of prices are you talking about?

As I said on another thread, baller phone = baller price.

If the price is suspiciously low I'd be very wary.

He said about 500 for an unlocked 32gb 3gs, which i think is a cheap yet realistic price for it. But i just want to see if anyone has bought from them to verify that they are in fact proper iphones and unlocked and all that jazz

Yeah that sounds like it might be ok - hopefully somebody will have some experience to share with you.

Obv you can check that the phone is unlocked by putting your sim card in it before you buy, the main issue is that it's a genuine iPhone and not a knock off.

Hey, I think this is the same place I was checking out iphones - only the 16gbs were 500euro tho, the 32gbs were 579euro? (as in the prices for new phones - they also sell second hand iphones at a lower pricing)

If it is the same place the guy told me they were phones from the uk that were unlocked (check to ensure the warranty is still valid from the ROI first if I were you..) - he even offered to let me check the serial on the apple website in the shop for warranty details etc. The shop offers a one month warranty also with receipt. Plus, you can trade in your old mobile off the value - he offered me a good price for mine but I didn't buy in the end - not sure if I should wait for the next gen iphone or not.... still considering it.

Hope this helps, and let us know how you get on if you go ahead and purhcase - I'm interested for one :)
