So I'm starting up running again, I did it for a while in 2007. My eventual goal was to do the 10K in good time and I finally got there after doing a few smaller races first, Afterwards though I lost my motivation and so I stopped.

I'm starting up again and could use all the advice or encouragement I can get.
I'm starting off with this training plan: http://www.best-running-tips.com/beginners-running-program3.html though I'll be adapting it I'd say as my plan is to run the 10K Bupa Great Run in April even if that means walking some of it.

I'll be putting my training logs up here mostly so that I keep doing it and dont bow out.

All help, advice and anything else is very gratefully received!

    Started today,

    2x
    6mins walking
    1mins running

Slow start but thats the idea :)

Roped in my wife to do it with me :) Nice to have the company.

I hurt my foot yesterday, so I wont be running today - so I'll go out tomorrow instead, assuming all is well with the foot.
