    i just got a ps3 but i dont have a HD tv so im wondering if i get a lead from a ps2 will that work. talkin about the lead that goes from the ps3 to the tv

    you should get a plug for a tv( a scart plug) with it if you buy it new..

    Yes the AV lead from the PS2 will work with your PS3.

    Whoever owned it previously probably used a HDMI cable, so the systems saves those settings. To reset it, just plug the Scart into your tv, whack on the console and hold the power button for 5 seconds and it should reset. I think...

    You probably didn't need my half ass'd explanation! Either way, hope it works!

    Google how to change video settings on a ps3 and it will explain it alot better than me but you turn it on holding your finger on power, wait for it to boot down and power up again and video should work

    Make surer and have your cable connected

    But i would just like to add that you should make it your sole mission in life to upgrade to a HDTV.You will wonder how you ever played on anything else.Absolutley no help i know but there you go.:)
