interview + essay!!?!

    hi everyone i have an interview in a few days, its not for a job but its for a place on a postgraduate course so i have still found some of the links on this page helpful.
    basically its an interview and also the completion of a short essay, topic of which to be given on the day.

    does anyone have any tips or links that may be helpful since the interview is not for a job as such, its for a postgraduate course and it is with lectureres. also any ideas about this essay??

    What course is it?

    If you consider they could get the information they want from you verbally by asking you a couple of questions, it's likely they want to make sure you have a high standard of written English and can communicate clearly when writing.

    I'm just guessing though.

    its for a speech and language therapy course!!

    Hi!

    I know it's about a year ago but how did you get on with that interview? Was the essay as bad you thought? If it was for the speech & language post grad course in Ul, I'm thinking of applying for it as well but have heard that it's very difficult to get onto the course. I'm wondering if it's even worth my while trying!:( Let me know about your experience! Thanks!!:)
