    HI people im wanting Digital tv im living in ballbofey dose any1 know if it works and all so did any one get this guy his site is www.digitaltvdonegal.com have a look and tell me is he any good if you used him and witch is beter freeview or freesat?

    Where exactly are you? If you are in the town itself, you won't get UK Freeview, or Irish DTT through an aerial yet. Have a look at this thread.

    As long as you can put up a dish, you will be able to get all the Free to Air satellite channels, including the ones listed in this thread.

    Meanwhile, unless you subscribe to Sky, RTE 1 and 2 as well as TG4, will only be available on analogue through an aerial for a while yet. The Letterkenny transmitter (actually near Raphoe) is on a list due to be upgraded for digital but that could take months, or longer. It could be years before the Ballybofey transmitter at Edenmore is upgraded.

    I don't know anything about the installer you mention because I'm one of those tightar*es that does everything myself :D.

    thanks for the help but i have no idea who to get if any1 in donegal wood know wood they let me know r what do you think of this guy? www.digitaltvdonegal.com he is only 180 for freeview i think that might be good????????????

    Anyone visiting that site for information is going to come away more confused than ever. On the 'Freeview' page the logo is Freesat and the service eventually offered is Free-to-Air. These are three separate services in terms of equipment and cost.

    just to let every1 know i had a man out but he was no good could not get me digital and still charged me 50 euro so i contacted digital tv donegal he done a great job and was not had to pay very good work!
