Iphone Error 9?

I was in itunes and it asked me to update the iphone so I did and then this message comes up. It says I need to restore the iphone but the error message keeps coming. And the phone just shows the image asking you to connect the phone to itunes. Is it ****ed beyond repair.:mad::mad:

Have you got another wire you can use to connect the phone? The one you're using might be damaged?
