Do i need a passport???

    People im planning on goin to see utd and liverpool next month , im going by boat and im wondering do i need a passport ..Iv only once been out of the country before at a utd game also , that was back in 2002 and i didnt need a passport back then , has this changed ..Thanks in advance..

    Check the ferry's requirements (if any) for ID - it should be on their website or on the bottom of your booking. If they don't mention passport then you'll be fine with a driving license (and in theory don't really need any ID).

    You are best taking at least a drivers license - there is border control police at the ferry ports and they do look for government issued ID.
