    Hi

Trying to remember a couple of Games from 80s

1 was kinda Pacman but with legs and you would scroll bouncing up and collecting things, always remember landing on a red fire hydrant

2 was scrolling game where you played a Knight and when fighting if hit parts of Armour would fall off

Used to play them in Abbey Street...

    Anyone remember them ?

    Cheers

    SZ

Second one is either ghouls n' ghosts or ghosts n' goblins

First one sounds like Pac land?

    Second one could be Gladiator:

You fight a female at one stage, and it's possible to defeat her without killing her, but remove enough of her armour to see her boobies! Cool stuff to be playing as a 14 or 15 year old, as I recall (fondly).

Namco Museum Vol. 4 for the Ps1 has a pretty good copy of Pac-Land on it.

Not sure if it'll run on a Ps2/Ps3 tho.

Ah, Pac-land. In our local arcade, only girls played that game, for some reason. No self respecting dude would be seen on it. I snuck in early one day to play it, and died after about 30 seconds, declaring it "a girls' game, alright" :pac:

Then I went back to Super Sprint and Contra.

Girls were more likely to come over and watch you play Pacland than if you were playing SF2 or KI. Once you had their attention, you could impress them with your cross-handed joystick-waggling prowess with the flying boots on the return trip.
