my dish was recently checked out by a sky technician and should be ok, but for
some reason i can get every channel fine except film4/film4+1. the picture
on those channels breaks up every few minutes.

my signal strength/quality are both stable at 60%

can i get some opinions please?

your quality reading seems a little on the low side..... have you got the skew correctly set?

well i am assuming the dude from sky checked this. he said the dish is aligned
ok now but was a bit off before. the previous signal strength was about 40%
before he had a go at it.

it all looks pretty clear for at least 200 metres. certainly nothing new has
appeared recently (this problem is only about 3 weeks old)

Did you get a new cordless phone recently, or move one closer to the receiver box?

I think that the transponder frequency for Film 4 is one that is particularly sensitive to cordless phone interference.

I had that problem and moving the phone base set to another location cleared it.

If there is a cordless phone nearby, switch off the base set and see if your picture clears.

just for info.....'quality' is the important reading not 'strength'.......
