nokia 5530 internet problem

im havin problem with my nokia 5530 the internet is never off stays on the whole time the e comes up in the top corner i have to press the hang up button den its says end meteor packet data and den will come back on few seconds later can anyone help me out thanks

Have you email set to sync?

You can change the settings in the phone, to 'always ask' so it wont connect unless you click too.
