Gay Bars (Not Nightclubs) in Cork

    Hi,

    I just moved to Cork and while I am straight the majority of my friends at home are gay. A bunch are coming out here this summer for my wedding and I want to be able to take them out while they are here.

    At home we went to nightclubs occasionally but usually to a bar where you could sit and have a good conversation. (And of course they would not mind meeting some hot guys)

    Where would you recommend?

    Chambers on Washington St. It is the gay bar in Cork. Certainly from what i've heard.

    It has a pretty comprehensive guide to gay night-life in Cork!!

    Personally, I love Ruby's..... It has a very mixed gay/straight crowd so it should suit you AND your friends!! I also love 'Loafer's for a quiet drink, but the crowd in there would be a slightly older, more 'gay' kind of crowd. Hope this helps!!
