What with Christmas, having been away for a week for new years and just general bills and stuff, plus being paid monthly. Februarys money came and went with breath taking speed. Basically i've been peniless for the past week and a half......or so i thought. Got paid today, yay, checked online to make sure it was in and it turns out i've been sitting on over 400 quid for the past week of piggy bank raiding misery. You'd think i'd be happy, but i'm not, i'm f.ucking furious at my own stupidity, if i had known it would have been champagne, cocaine and hookers all week (probably not, but you get the idea), instead i got pot noodle and glee. Arghhh!!!!!:mad::mad::mad::mad:

Don't spend it all on the one hooker now.

€400 for a hooker and champagne. I'd ride me ma for cheaper.

Wanna know what's even more annoying.

Paying a cheque into your account.
Paying some bills the next day.

Finding the bank decided to charge the bills, before it credited the sheque.
Finding that the charging for the bills overdrew the account.
For which there were multiple 'administrative costs'
Equal to the amount of money put in.

So basically. Money gone. Bills not paid. **** you bank, **** you.

Cheques take 5 days to clear. At this stage if you don't know that, give up and hand over control of your money to a monkey. I could train him up in a week.

No need to chop your cock off.... it's not that bad.

Now begs the question... 1 €400 hooker?.... Or 400 €1 hookers?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,812 ✭✭✭✭sbsquarepants

Gotcha, note to self - cancel cock chopping.

I have to know where you are finding €1 hookers.

For, eh, research on a book I'm writing.

    Yes, research, that'll do. ;)

You mean OP you never play the game of "you have insufficient funds"?

Tis great, one day the atm is going to spit out loads of money by mistake.

Only one solution to that...open a business bank account. Even if you don't have a business make up one ;) cheques are cleared instantly. Very very handy

Amateur mistake OP.. Go all the way down to insufficient funds and even then, check daily in case by some miracle, money got lodged.. Like tax back or something.

so its not just me who does that then.

Ever do it in the shop instead?? sometimes the bank wont let you withdraw from the ATM but will let you use the Laser card:cool:

/bank may charge you a ridiculous amount for this privilage and it all has to get paid back
