Hi could not find a category under Biz for Law or Legal maybe could be a useful sub category.

Anyhow looking for advise just moved to Celbridge area, have my own limited company and intend to set up a second on but have no contacts to recommend a good solicitor in the area (does not have to be Celbridge but needs to be easy to travel to) other areas considered are maynooth, Straffan, Leixlip, Lucan etc....

I also need some legal advice on Family Law so if anyone knows of someone they would recommend for both even better. As usual funds are restricted so do not want big bucks service but want someone who knows what they are talking about, gets the job done and no BS - just charges for whats been done.

Thanks and looking forward to replies.

    Hi Damlar,

with regards your business law.....can I ask why you need a solicitor....is it solely to assist setting up second co? You do not need a solicitor for that.

Hi Wishful thinker sorry in delay,

Yes it is just to set up and as going into partnership with new business associate want to make sure contracts and terms are agreed with us both in the event either party wants to opt out or feels disgruntled in anyway.

Hang on a sec guys, If your going into Partnership you will want a solicitor to help draft the partnership agreement to cover all the possibilities should things turn sour, you disagree or one partner want's to leave. This is far more important as there is nothing worse than a director break up with no rules of engagement.

I personally don't think it matters that much where to solicitor is located, email and calls do 90% of the work.

For setting up the company, your accountant is probably more appropriate or as the guys you can do all the leg work yourself, or get a company like www.Formit.ie to do half and you fill in the basic work.
