Sorry if this thread is a duplicate, but I have checked.
Anyway, another tragic and worrying development here in the North.

Just read about that on Irish times, unreal, some people just won't move on. It beggars belief.

Have to wait to see if any "group" claims responsibility.

Is this evil going to be visited upon another generation of Irish men, women & children?.. Not in my name at least.

What's stylish about paramilitary killings? Seriously though, it's a group of psychos who don't have any hobbies apart from plotting killings.

What is the difference between Paramilitary Style and Gangland Style when it comes to finishing someone off?

why is the word 'killing' used..even on rte, a killing might be louisiana murdering a low iq prison inmate from a poor background but anybody killed by another in ireland, after planning, is always murder..

One is honest enough to approach in sportwear and tacky jewelery; the other sports laughable military trappings: full of bogus ranks, insignia and self-elected mandates.

What possible reason for such a barbarous killing of Kieran Doherty?

If these people gather around in back rooms talking seriously about achieving irish freedom by the gun then i cringe for them.

Their methods are going nowhere. They are now the enemies of the irish people imo.

Its just organised crime at this point, the dregs of the paramilitary's, those that were never in it for ideology are all thats left and they'd love nothing more than to have the aura of legitamacy that being a "freedom fighter" brings.

This murder was no doubt the result of some petty criminal squabble but dressed up to imply some higher motive to make the perpertrators feel better about themselves.

Probably evidence of torture. Reckon this guy may have been a suspected informer.

    RIRA's claimed it

The Real IRA has said it was responsible for the murder of a man in Londonderry on Wednesday.
In a statement to a local journalist, the organisation said it killed Kieran Doherty, 31, who was from the Brandywell area of the city.
His body was discovered, stripped and bound on Braehead Road, near the Irish border at about 2230 GMT.

Deputy First Minister Martin McGuinness said the murder was a "dirty deed" and urged cooperation with the police.

He added that the political movement linked to the Real IRA, the 32 County Sovereignty Movement, should make a statement.
