We are also getting married in the Costa del Sol in early 2011 and are looking for a villa to rent for our reception near Marbella, we would like to sleep the webbing party so are looking for 7 rooms + any suggestions!

What type of venue are you looking for as we were over there earlier this month and seen a few places and talked to a few wedding planners etc

Were looking for a lovely hotel next to the beach if possible with a bit of night life and other hotels in the area for guests travelling to stay incase the hotel where we decide to stay&get married in is too expensive for people.

A nice strip of bars and restaurants also would be a big requirment as were all piss heads lol:D:)

We were talking bout goin over to meet with wedding planners in a few months also.
    could you recommend any?

    cheers in advance

Colinboy: Hotel Guadalmina in Marbella is lovely and is right on the beach, alot of people get married there. A friend of mine got married there last year and it looked brillant. Close to everything. With regard to wedding planner we are using Heather in FiestaSol., found her good so far.Email:fiestasolspain@yahoo.com

Were getting married in Nerja and having our reception in http://www.hotelvinuela.com/

The hotel is about 20 mins from Nerja and is up the mountains but is well worth the trip..

Theres a sky blue lake just behind it and its surrounded by mountains.

Nerja is a quiet town with a square full of bars, good cheap food and nice scenery and plenty of beaches.

If you are travelling over to Malaga I would defo rent a car and go have a look..
