    BILL BURR

    Live @ The Sugar Club
    Friday March 19th

Tickets on sale Thurs 28 Jan

Bill Burr is an American comedian or a comedian from the North American Union, depending on when you read this. He grew up outside of Boston, Massachusetts and did fairly poorly in school, despite the fact that he applied himself. Bill Burr will be performing at The Sugar Club on March 19th. Tickets are €15 on sale now through Ticketmaster and other usual outlets nationwide. Booking Line@ 0818 719 300.

Having first gained notoriety for his recurring role on the second season of "Chappelle's Show," Burr developed a comedic style of uninformed logic that has made him a regular performer on the "Late Show with David Letterman" and "Late Night with Conan O'Brien." And on June 8, Bill was honored to be the first comedian to perform on "The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien."

In 2010 Bill will be seen in the Steve Carell & Tina Fey feature, "Date Night," premiering on April 9 and he will star in his second hour Comedy Central special, which was recorded in December 2009 at The Fillmore in San Francisco.

Bill's "Monday Morning Podcast," an off-the-cuff weekly rant that has become a fan favorite, is available to play or download through Bill's website and is available on iTunes. Bill co-hosts his own Sirius XM radio show, "Uninformed", with fellow comedian Joe Derosa.

Bill's first hour special, "Why Do I Do This?" premiered on Comedy Central in the fall of 2008 to rave reviews and is now available on CD and DVD. His first CD, "Emotionally Unavailable: Expanded Edition," was released by What Are Records. Bill starred in his own HBO "One Night Stand" and "Comedy Central Presents" half hour specials and he has performed on "Showtime at the Apollo," BET's "Comic View" and Jamie Foxx's "Laffapalooza.

In the future Bill hopes to get married and have some kids. But until then, he will continue to spend most of his mid-afternoons sitting in his sweatpants learning AC/DC songs on his SG.

Bill is against organized religion and believes we should go back to the gold standard for our currency. None of his opinions are based on any sort of reliable information. He tends to go with his first thought, because reading makes him sleepy.

Poor quality, but pretty much my favourite thing he's done

Background - After being the third comic to be booed mercilously at Opie and Anthony's Traveling Virus, Bill Burr pays the Camden/ Philly crowd back by tearing them a new one.

Excellent news, really looking forward to this :)

Got my ticket the other day. Very much looking forward to seeing him. Especially after he cancelled his Killkenny shows.
