I'm heading to Solden on Saturday for a weeks snowboarding.

Any tips/advice on cool areas, lifts, bars or other must do things?

    Thanks,
    Willy

We're heading to Solden on the 26th, let me know how you get on. We were in St Anton last year and I think we will struggle to find anywhere better, especially for the Apres Ski...

As for Solden, I think there seems to be a few on piste Apres ski bars plus plenty around the town... have heard good a nd bad reports about the place... Once the snow is good we'll make our own fun after that...

Yeah not bad. Depends on what you're looking for too I suppose. There's plenty of apres ski but it can be a little bit on the mental side (seriously drunk Dutch/Germans and strip bars) rather than "everyone's having great craic mentalness" that you get in the Krazy Kangaru.
The Glacier is good, however there are some drag lifts and not very steep, but it's got these massive massive wide pistes you can take advantage of.
Mountain on the left (can't remember what it's called) has some good runs and is not as busy as the giggijoch (on the right) which can get very busy with all the ski schools.

There are also a good few bars on the slopes that you can crawl along while all the learners go home, and then you try your hat at drunking ski/boarding down to Kuck Kuck apres ski bar.

It's not quite St Anton, but it'll keep you ticking over for nicely for a week :)
