I'm doing some work in Galway and I'm staying on my own in Eyre Square, looking for some nice takeway in walking distance. Done a search on Streek Wok and doesn't get good reviews here.

So what are my options people? I had a Chinise last night so maybe something different......Thanks Galwegians.

    Tulsi Indian on buttermilk lane.

Btw, Golden Rickshaw is the best chinese takeaway in town imo

The nicest chips are from Vinnies which is basically across from the roisin. Apache is good pizza, it's near there. On Eyre Square Eds pizza is pretty good. For kebabs or if you're just really drunk, charcoal grill.
I don't eat a lot of take out except when I'm doing some marathon drinking but that's what I'd recommend.

Charcoal is great after a feed of drink. Doner Kebab and chips is around 10,000 Calories of gastronomical bliss.

Take a mouthful of Detoll with your kebab so you can refresh the toilet bowl in the morning! :o

Especially recommended between 2 and 3am, for sheer ambience.

+1 for Kettle of fish. Is Mc.Donaghs just not as nice as it used to be or was it always not that great?

Ming Garden do a mean chinese.

Ming Garden do a mean chinese.

As does the Asian Tea House on Mary Street, but that's more sit in than eat-on-a-kerb-somewhere.
