neither Vuze or my Playstation will recognize each other.
I dont think its a firewall as it recognizes my Xbox. Ive enabled media servers on my PS3 and also checked the 'Publish all media' box in the media server options in Vuze.
Ive reinstalled Vuze but still to no avail is the Playstation logo showing up in the devices. My xbox and itunes are always there just cannot get my PS3 to show up.
Anyone know how to solve this?

Well, look. I'm on a MacBook Pro and anyone who can tell me how to link up my computer to my PS3 using an ad hoc network would be my hero for life.

If this relates to your issues in the slightest...

I used to Nero Media Home, I believe. Works perfect streaming files from the PC to the PS3.

Now I just use my external HDD, formated to Fat32. Move files onto it from the PC, then take it to the sitting room to plug into the PS3.

Not an expert on Vuze, but you can't stream anything on the PS3 when you're NAT type is 1.

Wrong, NAT 2 is ideal, NAT 3 is muck.
You get NAT 2 and your online play is as good as NAT 1 and you can also stream with NAT 2.
