    Looks like a website issue.

Don't worry, you can provide the API info anytime - right up to when you get to the airport

    Thanks for your help.

I'll keep trying it maybe give the helpline a call because i wanted to check in online and its my understanding you cant do this unless you have done the API

You can input the API during the online check-in process.
    It might accept it then.

I had a booking last year that had a connection with United on it. I was never able to add the API and someone in customer services said the web helpdesk would be able to add it for me. I phoned them and they said, no they didn't do that. So anyway, it accepted it when I was checking in online.

If you make a mistake on your API online can you correct it at the airport (for Aer Lingus)?

    Thanks.

Is it still the case that you can supply this information at check-in at the airport or via the online check-in?

Aer Lingus website still does not work with API. :(

I am always sent to the redirect page. And, this being Ireland, there is no after hours contact details since people in Ireland only fly between 9am and 6.30pm.

Tried Chrome, Firefox, IE, clearing cache, changing java version...nothing :(

    Yes, it's still the case.

Yes, it is still not working.

The point is that I am afraid of giving the API at the moment of the check-in, since I received an email saying that the API was needed at least 72 hours in advance. Otherwise we would not be allowed to board.

Anyone has any idea of what to do? Is this true?

I think you're mixing up API with the ESTA. They're two seperate things. The ESTA is recommended to have been applied for no later than 72 hours before flying. API can be given at check-in.

Thanks a lot for the response. Unfortunately I called Aer Lingus and they tell me that it is compulsory to give the API 72 hours in advance. And I still cannot go through that horrible form!! It gets timed out in less than 20 seconds!

I think I will not be able to do it on time :(

Hello - I'm going to USA Wednesday and was trying to upload my Advanced Passenger Information [api] using Manage My Booking.
Aer Lingus web site says:You click the link below, shown in Bold. When I do this and enter the data it fails to retrieve my booking and says contact their Help Desk or Travel Agent. Very odd.......is it that this link is Out of Date and they forgot to delete it.????? Very Frustrating.
Bookings made with our call centre, a travel agent or other airline (To and/or from the USA/Canada only)
