    Hi Guys,

Just posting a few changes to the OP http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055830246 (includes charter).

I had a meeting with two of the guys from the Greystones Rugby Club earlier today and they have agreed to make some changes to the game.

Firstly I would just like to say the guys are not poker players and weren't aware (until this thread) that the game represented such bad value. They asked for advice on the game and that is what they were giving.

    So the changes.....

1: The Min Prize Pool will be €10,000. The first €10k will be paid out as already advertised. All monies collected above €10k will be spilt 50% into the prize pool and 50% to the club from which they have to pay for the following.

    A: Event Management Co.
    B: TD (myself)
    C: 8 Dealers
    D: Extra security
    E: Entertainment (I think it's a band)
    F: BBQ
    G: Advertising (Fliers ect)

So for example if there is a total prize pool of €15k, €12,500 will be paid out.

2: Change in finishing time. I have been told that the bar will close at the normal closing hour, but the game will be allowed to continue on. That said it can't go on all night.

3: Change in start time. Now 8pm sharp, new players will be allowed in up to and including the 1st break.

    Starting Chips 3500
Early Bird 500 (given to players in the 1st level only)
    Rebuy Chips 5000
    Top-Up 7000

Blinds 20 Mins for 5 levels (Rebuy period) followed by 15 Mins.
Please note I will if possible increase the blind levels for the last 2 tables.

    Structure
    25-50
    50-100
    75-150
    100-200
    150-300

Break 20 Mins, Chip Race 25's

    200-400
    300-600
    400-800
    600-1200
    800-1600
    1000-2000
    1200-2400

    Chip Race 100's

    1500-3000
    2000-4000
    2500-5000
    3000-6000
    4000-8000
    5000-10000
    6000-12000
    8000-16000
    10000-20000
    12000-24000

Hi JP, any change in the rebuy / topup amounts - i.e. still 3 x 50?

It is still 3 at 50. 5000 for rebuys and 7000 for topup.

Just home from this, great night. Thanks to everyone who turned up and congratulations to everyone who cashed.

We had a small crowd of 52 players (Rebuys 42, Top-Ups 37) for €9150 so there was an overlay of €850.

One our dealers finished early and decided to play, just aswell to as he went on to win his ticket to the Open, well done Tag.

A deal was done on the final table to take the cash prizes off 1st & 2nd to give to 3rd & 4th

    1st Ciaran Taggart
    2nd Shane Mullen (Local lad)
    3rd Ronan Kenny
    4th Noel Mc Mahon
    5th Paudie Kelly
    6th Derek Williams
    7th Karl Kennedy
    8th Paul Hanley
    9th Cliff Conyard

Really nice venue maybe back soon for another game
