Im about half way through watching season 2 of Dexter. Really enjoying it; great theme, great plot, great characters and a very polished and sleek overall presentation imo

It must be a great novelty to watch something of this caliber as a real life resident of Miami, something that's set in your own city with known surroundings and characters that are portrayed as locals with the local police force in action etc.

Then had a funny thought; Could you imagine how an Irish version of Dexter would play out set in Dublin for example where the Gardai try and track down "Dermot" a blood spatter analyst by day and a vigilante murderer by night who dumps his victims bodies into the overcast Irish Sea :P .. It'd be a complete cringfest!

Dont think the show would be half as glamorous!:D
