old age pensioner needs new windows for mobile home

    a pensioner i know needs new windows on his mobile home. he lives in the north east between dundalk and carrickmacross. he was quoted over 2500 euro from a window specialist but i thought it was a bit expensive. can anyone help?

    He may be eligible for a grant for the repair/replacement of his windows from the local authority.

    Definitely look into any grants that are available!

    Mods would we get any more answers in DIY?

    I'm no expert on replacing windows on a mobile home but 2500 does seem excessive alright, but without more info like number of windows, sizes etc it would be impossible to say for definite.

    All i can advise is get as many quotes as you can, surely there are plenty of companies out there dying for some business at the minute.

    There is bound to be some holiday/static sites near-by in carlingford area, you could try talking to someone there.
