Digital design and screen printing on t-shirts

Hi, I'm in the process of desigining some images for a t-shirt. I've finished a few ideas, but I worry that they mightn't come out as well on a screen printed t-shirt as they do on a monitor. Has anybody any experience with this kinda thing?

I've done various shirts for bands in the past, usually design with the print process in mind so if it's screen printing keep it simple (depending on how many colours you are using) but it's hard to say without seeing the images you're considering. Best option would be to send a pdf/jpg to your printer & take some advice from them.
