What are the chances of find an old MTB with horizontal dropouts? All the MTBs I find seem to have verticals. Am I looking at having to go back to the 89s?

21inch/56cm? Looking for something dirt cheap, will be used to tow trailer, just a beater/work horse bike.

I have this, 20" Kona Unit, track ends. Wasn't going to sell it "dirt" cheap though ;).

Nice, I'd say it's way outside my budget though, i.e. less than 100 :o

Thanks for the links. The frames are a bit out of my budget and I had read the bikeforum thread, but it's very America centric. I'll probably head down to Rothar on Saturday and see what they have

Thanks, that looks like an option. Do you have a link? At the same time the components will probably be at least that amount again

What are you looking for one for? I have a frame that I'm currently using as a fixed wheel bike, has the fork, headset, bb, front wheel and cranks as original that I might be willing to part with it if I could find an old road frame at a decent price, but it might not be what you're looking for at all... It's an old Falcon Fatrack that I've repainted repeatedly, giving it a somewhat, em, unique paint finish...
