That's what DIT is offering. What I think is that if you care about using your arts/design related degree after graduation, you should use this opportunity by all means, not just for the prize money but for experience. This is an opportunity for students to do something relevant for the summer.

The question is, would anybody be interested in this?

Whatcha got in mind? I wouldn't mind getting involved in some sort of project... and I am in the faculty of applied arts, but, I dunno if my official skills are of any use.

Id be interested in it. Im a product design student who has worked in the music industry and have a big passion for music while also dabbeling in film and other visual aspects. Would not mind putting together a group if other people are interested.

I play guitar and bass myself, plus I have product and graphic design background.

I would like to take part, but I'm going to Canada this Summer, so it would be very difficult for me to work in a team. I will definitely ask one of the organisers whether anyone would be allowed to work over internet for their entry.
