Very unlikely your average scrap yard will have many MX-5s for breaking.

Maybe try the Irish MX-5 club below, they are bound to have a source for parts.

Pretty sure Sweeney sources parts as well as what is physically onsite.

Anytime I went to Sweeney he was charging 80% of the price of the new part.

I use mx5parts.co.uk and find them very good.
