Open Comps - when/where is qualifying starting

    Guys,

    Hopefully the weather will pick up in the next couple weeks and qualifying competitions will begin again. Any ideas what courses and when this gonna happen

    If you're in the 5-9 bracket, I'd imagine the Pormarnock Links junior scratch cup would be in with a shout of being qualifying - it's on Paddy's Day. Probably closely followed by the European Club (do they still do those open Wednesdays?).

    Anyway, links will always be rid of winter rules before parklands. But mind you don't rush down to reap the benefits of your winter practice, finally with the opportunity to get cut, to a tough seaside course with the wind blowing, and come off with .1 back and your tail between your legs ;)
