Just a quick question, I've my eye on an item that's on a website which only delivers to the US/Canada. Just wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to get it delivered here? Are there any companies which would accept the package and redistribute it for me?

Not available anywhere else in the world, it seems!

    Thanks.

Google "ship from us to uk"
Some innocent things they think would be useful to terrorists wont be shipped though.

There are several companies in the US that will take it and ship it on for a fee, usually 10 to 20 USD + shipping cost to you. Be warned that they will declare full value for insurance purposes so make sure you add in the VAT, duties etc. cost on item value + shipping (general rule of thumb is add 25% to the final cost).

First off I would email the company and see if they will send it to you, they might charge a good bit extra of course. 95% of ebay guys in the US who sell to "us only" were willing to sell to me. Many do not want to deal with "non-american speakers";)

Also list the item/company, somebody might well know of somewhere to get it. People on boards had used a woman in the US who will reship stuff to you, she will even go shopping in normal shops for you.

Also don't forget the different voltage, and clothes sizes are different etc, a XXL in the US is massive, and womens sizes are different.

I use shipito.com and it works well. Cost $8.50 + postage + 4.5% fee. You can then chose for them to send it on to you by Fedex, Priority Mail, Exress Mail or there own Shipito airmail service. I also used myus but they only ship via DHL or Fedex so its very expensive.

Mod -if this is against the rules feel free to delete.
edit: if you do chose to go with shipito can you pm me and I will send you my afilliate link so I get commission please :)!

Cheers for the replies - I attempted a search before for redirecting packages but didn't see much out there. The website/company is http://www.sunandski.com/, and they seem to only have the cycling jersey I want in medium. I've checked the clothing sizing alright and medium looks like it fits.

The company has a section on 'international selling' so, well, they do send stuff here, but it looks like they do it through Bongo International which seems to be far too expensive for me.

I'll contact them on the off-chance and have a look at shipito too, cheers.

Just asked (used their online chat service) and got a very quick response. They only use Bongo, which sucks, but the quick reply made me happy.
