When were these announced and where can I get Dublin tickets?

Cant thank you enough for showing me this.

    Yer welcome Mushy :)

Just got an email this morning from the roisin dubh mailing list and got the tickets straight away off their site. But I know friends in Dublin, glasgow and england couldnt find where to get tickets for any of those gigs so they mustn't be on sale yet. Best bet would probably be to contact the academy directly.

Thats cool, thanks again. Will give them a call then, prob be on ticketmaster tomorrow. Have never been in Academy 2, and really won't surprise me if it gets bumped upstairs.

Idlewild are on the same day already in the Academy so it'll be The Academy 2, which means when tickets go on sale get in there fast!
    Can't wait for this!!!:D

the academy 2 is way too small for Lanegan, He must be more popular than idlewild. Whelans would be great for him

Got my ticket this morning, it'll be the 3rd time I've seen him, he's unreal live! He could easily play a bigger venue than the Academy 2 but he likes the small intimate gigs and I'm not complaining!!

I've to wait till at least tomorrow to get them:( Stupid gay having-to-cancel money cards

Picked up my tickets today, should be special. He is meant to be playing bubblegum and some tracks from his new album. Nice!

would he play a screaming trees song ever? never seen him live except with QOTSA.

    Need more information to process,

or does he ever use songs from his time with isobell?

Tiny and poxy, unless you're a giant or up the very very front, it's tricky to see the band. If you are up the front i'd say it's great but don't be thinking of heading to the back to get a beer cause you'll never get back to the front.

He will mainly play stuff off his solo albums, you might get 1 trees song, this tour is meant to be him playing the bubblegum album and new songs. If your after trees songs only dont go as the venue is shocking and you wont enjoy as other posters have said. The only hope is it gets moved to maybe crawdaddy or idlewild are relegated or cancel their gig;)

forgive my ignorance but has he recently been doing acoustic only gigs? Or is it gonna be the same setup he had with Other Voices (rte)

or is it gonna be a stripped down version, i.e. him, a guitarist and a 2nd acoustic guitarist.

Never been to academy 2 myself, why so critical?

Says on his website "Spring UK/European Solo Acoustic Tour"
So just him and his guitar I guess.
I saw him when he was over supporting Bubblegum and he did a pretty cool version of Autopilot by the Queens so you never know you might get something from the Screaming Trees catalogue, but I'd say it's highly unlikely.

did you hear this song yet, he guest vocals on their new album. Nearly felt like tearing up after this song. But my big manliness stopped me just in time.

    Great song though.

Will you miss me when i burn

It's just Lanegan and Dave Rosser on guitar and it's gonna be unreal!

Think its Bubblegum and songs from his up-coming album, from what I hear!
