    Hi

I am thinking of building an ICF house. Has anyone any expierence with these houses. I went to look at a few in Killarney on Sunday. They look the business all I would be afraid of is the outside plaster I was told it is stronger than plaster on a block built house but I do find this hard to believe. As I say just curious has anyone any expierence with these ?

Why do you find that hard to believe?

Normal render is 15mm or so.
Renders for external applied insulation are much less. Maybe 3-5mm. So its quite obvious that they have to be stronger. 3mm of sand and cement render wouldn't stand up to much.
