I want to buy an aerial for my television in my room and I was wondering if a cheap aerial will recieve all those channels?

Or do you need a specific type?

    Depends on where you live.

If you live in Luton there's no chance :pac:

Spur Hill is less than two miles south so unless you're in a dip you should pick it up no bother, it's all UHF so buy an indoor UHF aerial and try it, don't buy anything that mentions VHF. Go over to Maplins in Blackrock Retail Park and buy this one, if you can't find it yourself ask one of the staff for stock code L56AF.

Use a coat hanger, works for me.
(I'm in Dublin though, so maybe the signal's stronger)
