    Hey hoping someone can help.

Got a sony ericsson C510 few months back and all good with it.

Ok well yesterday evening battery emptied as didnt get to charge it. no problem plugged it in when got home overnight. Went to turn it on this morning but wouldnt turn on at all. Tried taking out the battery and putting it back in and no go. Nothing working.

Now i am unsure if the charger charged it as when i plug it into the C510 nothing appears on screen. The charger works perfectly as plugged it into another SE and no problem as it charges it fine. Unfortunately the other SE has different battery so cant try change battery to see if the battery is the problem.

    Any ideas?

Is it over 6 months old? Thats all the warranty covers on the battery. If it less then this, go in store and request a new one.

only two months old. No problem with battery before at all. it held charge very well...may have to go into shop and see if they have another battery and can test it that way.

inserting a new battery may not resolve the prob as a new battery would most likely have a factory charge on it allowing the phone to on, that is if it is a battery problem. it may also be an issue with the charging components themselves. meaning your battery may just not be accepting the charge. check the battery itself and see if there is a small red sticker on it or inside the the phone if there is its an indicator of water damage. if not its most likely software, and will have to be sent back to manufacturer. so bring your reciept with you. imo batterys rarely are faulty even after 6 month warranty is up.
