Mobile company sending old bills

Hi there. Straight away in light of the charter. I'm not here for legal advice any suggestions or tips here will be taken as non liable etc etc...

Right so I'm in a dilemna with a mobile network.
I changed contracts back in July from a fixed 12 month to pre pay due to contract expiring and me losing my job. After a while I decided to opt into a rolling 30 day notice contract.

The issue I have is that regardless of closing all outstanding money owed, I'm still receiving a bill for the older contract (account 1 for ease of conversation).
Each month without fail. The same bill. Not itemising comes in the door but with the call charges and billing period changed to suit the current billing month.

I was also receiving bills for the "account 2" which was the active one which I was using. After ringing in many times to rectify this and many more billing issues I was told it would be resolved. I've since left the network for another and followed the correct protocols including the closing procedure.

The problem I have is they're still sending that bill for account 1 to this day. Do I have a leg to stand on with them? The bill states they're going to debit the money from my account on x date but that is impossible since I cancelled the direct debit mandate 5 months previous (start of account 2).

    Bottom line to save boredom:

Bill is from an old inactive account from July 09.
Billing period and date is continuously changing
    No list of itemised calls
Bill was paid in full before closing of account 1

Is this harrassment? I'm sick of wasting my time ringing them. I'm still under dispute from over charges! (ongoing dispute 4 months)

Sorry for very long post. I look for to your replies :)

We recently moved from e****m to vodafone, but 3 months later we're still getting bills from e****m. I was told by our vodafone rep today that this is something which has been happening a lot recently.

In our case the sister company provided the service, but the billing came through e****m.

The vodafone rep reckoned that it was a software glitch causing the problems; accounts weren't getting shut down or changed properly. Unfortunately, many calls to e****m haven't rectified the situation, but in our case this is just the end of a long conga line of difficulties with this company.

Well my dificulties extend across two contracts and 7-9 months of issues.

Bottom line is I needed to know where I stood on the bill being a bit odd.
