samsung 32" flicking sound

    hi all
    apologies in advance if this is the wrong place for this-
    i am having an issue with a new tv described above.
    when i connect to cable box (magnet) a clicking/ flicking sound is heard from the tv every few seconds when watching tv. very irritating after a while. there is no problem if i watch a dvd.

    when i connect to another tv, no issues either, so can't be the cable box/cabling.
    any ideas greatly appreciated.

    managed to sort this by swapping the scart lead for a hdmi.
    so the scart works fine for a a smaller tv (19") but i get the noise with a
    32".. hmmm
