    Yep I agree

Produced between 1954-60 and I think total production was about 150,000

7th October 1968; A CIE bus was burned in Portmagee on Sunday night, 6th October. The bus was used to take children to school in Caherciveen. Parents refused to let their children travel on the bus in protest at the takeover by CIE of the route that had been serviced for nine years by Vincent O'Keefe, a 34 year old shopkeeper from Portmagee. The IRA burned the bus because they felt that Mr. O'Keefe had been victimised.

That mini looks very battered for 1968.....very interesting thread. Theres a book for sale with photos taken in Kerry from the 40s to the 60s and some of these pictures are in them. Is the Ambassadors car a convertible? and what county is BI?

Is that a Lotus Cortina I see?

Edit - Just looked again, and I reckon it's a replica (wrong wheels and ride height). The green stripe threw me a small bit.

I'm looking at the background, at the Nuffield. My late father's Nuffield was exactly like that, down to the front loader brackets, although I don't think there was ever a reg plate fitted to the tractor. Depending on location, it may be his tractor, but is a bit unlikely.

You would never know,id say the only man that could answer that with a degree of accuracy is Padraig Kenelly himself?
Maybe send him an email with the photo attatched?
