Spyker and General Motors have completed the final paperwork to seal the Dutch luxury car maker's purchase of Saab Automobile, the Swedish firm revealed to news agency TT.

Now until a Spyker owned Saab roles off the forecourt, I won't trust this deal as there have been so many twists and turns, but it looks like deal done and Saab remains in business.

Good, I hope they go on to survive.

Maybe we'll see more interesting cars from them again?

I can't see it working. I think Spyker are naeive to think they will be able to turn around Saab. It will be a huge drain on their finances whilst they try to change the big corporation culture & processes implemented by GM, which will take years.

Here's hoping they manage though :)
