I just registered for this. Looking forward to hearing Frankie who is gaining a great reputation as a new pundit.

Quote from the Today FM Website:

Today FM have teamed up with Guinness to host five AREA 22 supporter events across the country, on the Thursday before each game in the RBS Six Nations. Two hugely successful events have already taking place in Dublin and Cork, before the Italian and French games, and the next gig is coming to Flannery’s Bar, 17 Upper Denmark Street, Limerick on Thursday 25th February.
MC Matt Cooper will be joined by Neil Francis, Frankie Sheahan, Liam Toland and Munster and Ireland great Anthony Foley, as they look back on the Ireland’s campaign to date and preview the big away game against England in Twickenham on the 27th.. The first half hour of the event (6.30pm – 7pm) will be broadcast live on The Last Word on Today FM, and the whole event will be streamed live on www.todayfm.com and www.facebook.com/guinnessrugbyireland
Tickets for the event in Flannery’s Bar on the 25th February are free, but you must register in advance by email to rugby@guinnessarea22.com with your name, date of birth, and contact details. The event is strictly over 18 only and proof of age will be required. Kick off time on the evening will be 6pm.

Something along the lines of Marcus Horan should be on the bench instead of Tom Court because John Hayes can cover loosehead....or something equally ridiculous

On his blog He said Horan should be on on bench,I pointed out Horan could only cover loosehead.
He replied by saying something ridiculous like Hayes could cover loosehead,I pointed out this would still leave us without a tighthead.

He then deleted his comment to avoid further embarrassment,I re posted it for him though,il check if its still up.

John Hayes deserves great credit here also. I think that Marcus (Horan) should be on the bench after two good run outs in for Ireland ‘A’ and frankly I’m quite surprised that he hasn’t been picked considering his experience.

    Frankie,
How can marcus Horan be on the bench when he only covers loosehead?
What would happen if John Hayes gets injured, who would cover him?
    Healy certainly cant play tighthead
Because of this its quite clear Horan either starts or doesnt make the bench

Hi all - thanks again for all of your comments.
On the Horan v Court issue - lets look at the issue in a bit more detail…..
-Firstly, let me clarify that i do believe that Cian Healy deserves his starting place at loosehead after his performance against Castro on Saturday.
-Secondly, I do believe that its imperative that Horan is included in the 22 as he would be a great guy to spring off the bench, especially against the French.
-Thirdly, I have played with John Hayes at loosehead and while it is not ideal he can switch into the position without too much disruption. The question is - how much better would Court be at tighthead than Hayes would be at loosehead.
-Finally, how many times has John Hayes ever had to leave a pitch due to injury for Ireland or Munster. You would expect him to last the full 80

Aren't all pundits biased in one way or another? Well the RTE ones anyway.

I don't think any of the pundits on RTE are biased myself.
