Hey Navan!

If you're not having much luck on this forum, in the Biz / Business, there's a specific Public Relations forum where people have picked brains on music PR before.

Might be another place to look about? Good luck with it.

Im genuinely not trying to sound cynical here but everyone on this forum is either in a band or trying to get one together so I think you should offer a few incentives. Would also reccomend going out to ballyfermot college and putting up posters out there. They do the music managment course and someone is bound to take the bait for this type of thing. Any of the colleges that do music managment would definitly be worth a poster.

I'm genuinely not trying to be smart here either. But you've hardly been around on this forum long enough to see the types of music people who frequent this forum it is more than just filled with people who are in / trying to get a band together.

From promoters, venues, managers, labels, PR people, musicians and other media the bands / musicians forum has them all and they all still interact with the community on a daily basis.

In answer to your post OP what is your budget for a PR person? Are you hoping for completely free, cheap or dont mind spending a bit of cash?

Ouch! Im just basing it on the majority of posts Ive seen over the last couple of months. Maybe thats just how things have been since I started using the forum and theyll get back to being more balanced over time.
