The UCI have announced the events that nations have qualified for at the forthcoming World track championships to be held in Copenhagen later this month.

The good news is that Ireland have one place in both the Men's Individual and Team Pursuit. However we are 2nd reserve to start the Points Race, no women qualified in any event and no places in the either the mens or womens omnium, the new Olympic event !!
This has to be a concern to CI and the Sports Council two years out from the Olympics where the IP is now scrapped and most other nations are now focussing on the Omnium.

Anyway best of luck to IP and TP riders that will be taking part.
