Can I recieve rent allowance on a 2 bedroom apartment provided it is under the threashold?, i ask because there is nice apartments under the limit and are more spacious. I am a single man going to be living alone, has it ever become an issue with your CWO

The rules say "must be appropriate to your needs". If you're single, they're going to ask questions on why you need a two-bed... (they may think you plan to "sub-let" for extra income).

Be honest, ask your CWO to consider it, seeing that it is still below the threshold.

Do you have any children? If you do, and have regular access with them, a 2 bed-room would not be an issue.
